Not sure why NASA's administrator felt compelled to congratulate #SpaceX for "a successful mission". Artemis 3 is delayed among others by the slow progress of SpaceX Starship, and has now been pushed to September 2026, while looking into changing the mission to just visiting the Lunar Gateway, instead of landing humans on the Moon.

Sure, rocket science is hard, but cheering for every little progress sounds as if we're forgetting that #NASA put people on the Moon more than half a century ago.

@65dBnoise I wouldn't say this was little progress. It was quite a feat.

And in larger context, I would emphasize that government regulations are slowing them down.

If NASA wants to go faster I'm sure SpaceX would be for that, but the agencies and the executive branch need to work together to allow it.
