I make it a personal policy not to like or boost post that promote Twitter ("X"), Reddit, or Facebook.

Some of us left those and most of us (myself included) come to the Fediverse to escape those. If you need to come here to share your links because people there will not follow you, you likely have nothing to say anyway.
