In case you were wondering, the far-right is blaming DEI for Trump almost being assassinated. Clearly if women weren't in the secret service, things like this would never happen. Clearly.
And for those who lean into conspiracies, when you rearrange DEI you do get DIE. Coincidence?? Well, yeah, but that won't stop some from believing it.

@FantasticalEconomics Well the argument is that the stated goal of bringing in women involves doing whatever is needed to bring in those women, even if it means lowering standards to make it happen.
It’s a reasonable argument.
