American conservatism is the idea that the state delivering free lunches to your school kids is an overreach, but the state burning your kid's school books is just fine.
Simpler:
It's #sadism.
Everything else is window dressing to hide that essential motivation.
#Conservatism in the #USA has degenerated into base cruelty. Not as a method for some other goal. But as the instinct, the desire, and the point of everything they do.
No more complex than that.

at one time though you could have a lucid conversation with a #conservative
you would disagree, but they lived in reality. the conversation was polite
but now the right is insane, immoral, detached from reality, and rabid bullies intent on delivering pain as their single direct desire and no more
