My generation, GenX, really seems to be the last generation to have any of us able to achieve those once traditional markers for success (job growth, home ownership, retirement, etc.) and even then it’s increasingly rare in my cohort. As those markers for success become increasingly unattainable, I don’t think we’ll all consider ourselves failures but rather we’ll evolve a different rubric, though I don’t know what that will be. Maybe connecting with others and compassion. I’d really like that.

Don't buy into the lies, the sensationalized news stories, the propaganda meant to deceive.
