So, we’ve seen in the last couple of days calls for Biden to resign and let Kamala take over as 47 for the rest of his term. We’ve also seen calls for Justice Sotomayor to step down and allow Biden to name a replacement.

Hear me out: Harris has a law degree, right? So, Biden appoints her to the Supreme Court to replace Sotomayor. Harris casts the tiebreaking vote in the Senate to confirm her nomination. Then Biden steps down, making Harris the president for the remaining days of his term. She then has Trump and Vance arrested and sent to Gitmo, using her official immunity powers.

Can’t be any more far fetched than this timeline we’re living in now.

Firstly, I doubt Harris can get enough senators, even Democratic senators, to confirm her nomination.

Secondly, wrt immunity, the Supreme Court put limits on the president's ability to prosecute, which would tend to prevent Harris from doing that, not the other way around.
