Wordsmith Democrats failed to stop the dragon at the gate. They were seemingly mortified when the dragon entered the palace the last time, chased it out, then, when given absolute power to stop the dragon, preferred a peaceful transition of power to dragon rule.

The party we should have been fighting all along was the one with the D, the slothful one pretending they were an opposition party via many words, and whose leaders carved out, when the chips were down, really nice retirements for themselves.
