You know what would be awesome? If the #ATProtocol had its own version of Instagram that integrated with #Bluesky, like how #Pixelfed works with #Mastodon on #ActivityPub. It’d be a great way to enhance the ecosystem—and a big “F you” to #Instagram.

With #Pixelfed, you can import your old Instagram posts and data. Imagine being able to do that on an #ATProtocol alternative. Maybe it would finally push #Meta to merge #Instagram and #Threads instead of making users hop between the two.

It’d also be great if we could host our own PDS for photoblogging, similar to what #Pixelfed allows. On top of that, Pixelfed is working on a TikTok-style platform called “#Loops.” #ATProtocol could really benefit from similar tools for short-form videos.

A #PeerTube-like platform on #ATProtocol could be next-level. Upload videos, comment directly using your Bluesky account—no need to jump between systems. It’d create a seamless experience while keeping decentralization and user control intact.

The #ActivityPub fediverse has already been doing this for years—photoblogging, video hosting, and more. If #ATProtocol wants to stay competitive, it’s time to catch up and start building a proper ecosystem. The potential here is huge!
