@glnews_mirror #Bitcoin would surge even without convicted felon #Trump's win, as it does 9 months post halving each cycle. Plus there is the ETFs. While crypto may benefit from less hostile treatment from Trump administration, he ain't gonna make a US bitcoin reserve, he ain't gonna execute any pro-crypto policy. He is a con man, and a pathological liar. He just wanted your vote, he will screw you over just like he screwed over Michigan auto workers or Libertarians once he got their vote.

@PeterSoukup correction: not convicted felon.

Biden's people didn't manage to get the conviction entered in a sentencing hearing as they dropped the ball.

@volkris He was convicted by a jury of his peers and the case hasn't been dismissed by the judge, therefore he is a convicted felon. No matter how much word salad MAGA throws at it in an attempt to spin it will change that. The only reason he hasn't received his sentence yet is that he successfully ran for president. Should he be any other person, he would have been sentenced felon by now.

@PeterSoukup no, that's not how the process works.

Due process often involves review after the trial, which is what's going on now.

Until the completion of his due process rights he's not a convicted felon. He's just someone a jury in a contested trial has voted to find guilty.

Our legal system has other protections in place before conviction, though. The jury is just one part of the process.
