The simplest measure of resistance the news media could take, without sacrificing any of their vaunted 'neutrality’, would be to stop plastering the ugly mugs of fascists and other authoritarian assholes all over our feeds.
Even just using a generic preview card image would already be a massive improvement. Heck, fund some human artists to make you a set of custom graphics to use.
Meanwhile, if you post news on here without a content warning, consider using my placeholder images, and save us from having to witness the punchable faces of the likes of Trump, Musk, and Zuckerberg on a daily basis.
