But this week you also stopped all cyber actions against this same nation, who is the biggest cybercrime group in the world (china doesnt really do the ‘petty’ [for a nation state]crime that russia does, they just break into everything).

Trump is likely just trying to limit antagonistic involvement on both sides. No more arms to Ukraine, not more sneaky cyberattacks on Russia. He’s a president who loves (physical) peace, and it shows in his policies.

It's really the simpler explanation given what we see from him.
