If the #Fediverse is going to last there needs to be shift away from screenshotting shit from all the corporate social media sites.

Part of the rejection of those sites is to also refrain from sharing its content.

I'd rather someone just ripped stuff off and pretend they made it up than have them continually taking screenshots.

I'm talking mostly about the hot takes, here. Some content - like videos of war zone - you might just have to follow a person on Twitter or Facebook and share their stuff.

But the reliance on screenshots is just a way of taking another social media and recreating it on Fedi.

Fedi needs it's own culture more than a second hand gallery of corporate shit.
