I don't know where the line should be drawn on what kind of education public money should fund, beyond letting local governments decide (mostly). I think we have a public interest in all kids in the country knowing some things, whether it's provided by the government, non profits or private corporations. We should just want a service that maximizes outcomes for kids and society, however the pressure is applied to make that happen.

Well, in general the problem there is one of calculation if you do the math different ways with different weightings, then different strategies will maximize outcomes.

But more to the moment, the question before the court is about discriminating against religious organizations, which doesn't actually have very much to do with outcomes of education.

It's just a different topic before the court.
