Alright. As #Ukraine has now sold itself to #America, I am awaiting now huge #support from the #US. After all they should defend their states. #NeoColonialism is back, but this was the last thing that could have been done other than giving up to the #Russians. Let’s see.

@kalle nobody knows it in detail, yet the agreement’s content were discussed for a long time. We know that Ukraine will give much of their minerals’ value into the US’ hands. Any form of giving out a given country’s minerals or any other resources (like people - slavery) is colonialism. And this we know.

As far as I understand it, #Ukraine and #USA will exploit the resources together and USA seems to the one who has the first right to buy them. The profit gained by that will be reinvested in Ukraine to help rebuild the country.
Colonialism would be more like USA takes the resources and Ukraine receives nothing.
Yeah, @heisinen, it's vital to remember that Trump has a long, long history of failing to get what he and others discussed for a long time. In fact, he already botched his attempt to get something like that.
And so, as @kalle indicates, reporting on the content of the deal has so far shown it to be significantly different from what has been discussed for so long.
This is a very different agreement. And that's the norm for Trump. He consistently fails to deliver what he promises.
In other words, yeah, arguably he promised colonialism, but he already botched that deal and this is different.
