I remember #Destiny calling himself an "institutionalist", that he supports federal institutions and trusts their judgments in the vast majority of cases.

Clearly he has strayed from that principle now that #Trump is president, but what ideology is that? He called it #institutionalism but I looked it up and it's not a formalized ideology.
@realcaseyrollins In other words he either made it up or acquired it from some stupid message board. Understandable. I wouldn't say that I believe in hedonism and anal sex on Twitch either.
@maxmustermann He 90% made it up. Either that or it's an obscure ideology without a #Wikipedia article, although that would make it less likely for #Destiny to subscribe to 🤭

@realcaseyrollins I've no idea what the Destiny drama is, but I can tell you how the term institutionalism is normally used:

It's not so much an ideology but an approach saying that when making decisions a person would focus on preserving a particular social structure even at the expense of outside considerations.

You can be supporting a conservative, or liberal, or libertarian, or Marxist institution and be institutionalist. It simply means making choices with longterm survival of the structure as priority.
