Don't get me wrong; I love Tom Walz. He's my governor, and he's a great guy.

But listen. He's making the classic error every Democratic politician has made in recent memory, and this is also why I think we need to expunge every political advisor they have working for them.

*Why* do they keep giving oxygen to their opponents' campaigns?

I didn't know who was running for governor on the GOP side until the Walz campaign told me.

It's a blunder. They should stop doing that.

"We need to paint our opponents"

No. They do a great job of doing that by themselves. You don't need to highlight what absolute scum they are because they are practically *bragging* about what absolute scum they are.

This isn't your grandfather's political arena anymore. Stop talking about your opponents in any light. They do not matter. You, the candidate, matters. Talk about *you*. Get your base motivated to vote *for* you, and not against some bogeyman.

@zalasur Yeah exactly, Democrats seem to be so intent on preaching to their own choirs that they don't realize how much they are elevating their opponents at the same time.

I honestly don't think we should let the governor off the hook for this. He's not cut out for politics since he is doing this, and he shouldn't be re-elected because of that.
