America is not a democracy, especially not now.
It is an autocracy with collective leadership.

When the liberals and the DSA right speak of defending democracy, I cannot help but ask "what do you mean"?

Do you mean the unelected committee of nine judges who are the sole arbiters of the Constitution?

Or the secret spy agency that props up fascist dictatorships around the world?

Or the military industrial complex that wages unpopular forever wars over climate killing fossil fuels?

Or the Nazi sympathizing president of the United States of America who is sending a personal army of masked thugs to take our neighbors to concentration camps in broad daylight?

What about the illegal torture facility that we run on stolen Cuban land?

What about the fact that it is possible for a president to become president... without the support of a majority of citizens!

Or the fact all of our politicians are bribed by the monopoly capitalists?!

@burnoutqueen No, we democratically elect our representatives to Congress and the EC.

There is democracy. Sounds like you're just ignoring the democracy and then asking where the democracy is.

It's there, it just has nothing to do with the things that you're focusing on.
