“The corporation is an externalizing machine, in the same way that a shark is a killing machine. There isn’t any question of malevolence or of will. The enterprise has within it, and the shark has within it, those characteristics that enable it to do that for which it was designed.”

Almost. The feature enabling externalizing isn't internal but external. Government laws and customers' cooperation enable the corporation. Society enables the corporation.

So it doesn't have within it, but it will naturally take what's provided to it.
