I think any man who feels comfortable calling a woman--any woman--a bitch is probably a misogynist at heart. It reminds me of people who thinks its all right to misgender a transgender person if that person is despicable. It makes any woman's basic dignity contingent on what the man thinks of you. Today he's calling some right-wing asshole a bitch, but tomorrow it'll be you if you get on his wrong side. (This is very different from a woman calling another woman a bitch.)
