@mvario Well it's more that they ruled against voters.

Violent threats should never happen, but when officials go against the people like this, it's bound to happen because there are plenty of nut jobs out there.

@Neidfyre failing? No not at all! Succeeding and giving us exactly what we vote for. @ewdocparris

@mickeleh I'd say it emphasizes the ridiculousness of branches campaigning against each other.

We elected a bunch of Congress people who didn't do too much, and that hasn't had much to do with the president. Wrong branch of government.

We elected a bunch of people who couldn't get along so we got exactly what we voted for: people who couldn't get along and pass legislation.

@mvario but you can see from the article itself that the headline is false.
Tech Dirt is clickbait, not a reliable source.

@realTuckFrumper this is one of the dumbest things to ever be arguing over.

It just really doesn't matter what Trump has or has not read.

This is all such a distraction from substantial questions and issues.

@SeanCasten The House has passed 7 appropriations bills according to CRS.

That headline is misleading.

crsreports.congress.gov/Approp

@knittingknots2 Well that headline and claim was easy to debunk.

@ProPublica Right, further promoting the dramatization of the court, further distracting from the actual arguments in the opinions that actually matter.

ProPublica is a clickbait shill that is honestly really bad for society with this kind of stuff.

@TMRuppert just because it is being a sawed through doesn't mean it's not deterring a single migrant

@emsquared no you put your finger on it.

There is no privacy here, this is a public broadcast system.

You say you know nothing, but really you know something that's really important to make sure everybody on this platform knows.

@Twitter_expat@mastodon.world by the developers deciding they know better than users what users want. Of@elduvelle@neuromatch.social

@bigheadtales indeed, watch what they do! Because what they do debunks what you're saying here.

And that's the whole point.

It really sounds like you are in an echo chamber, so you don't seem to realize that mainstream Republicans aren't really following the story that somebody is telling you.

@bigheadtales what in the world? Mainstream Republicans spend so much time denouncing all of those things.

Someone is telling you some really weird things that aren't right.

@bigheadtales no, mainstream Republicans do not take such a position

@obeto@mas.to what? No. Half of the country has figured out the truth.

I'm sorry if you're not familiar with it, if your echo chambers haven't come across this difference of opinion.

@CardboardRobot nah, The strategy of asking a person to actually back up the claims they are making.

@obeto@mas.to Oh I am indeed very careful about what I am saying!

And you're just factually wrong. The things you are saying here are not factually true. And again, I am very careful about what I am saying, I mean it very carefully, when I am saying that your comment just now? Is false.

It's factually false.

I don't care about your patience to be honest. This is social media, so none of this actually matters, but I am happy to call you out for saying factually untrue things.

I'm happy to discuss this with you so we can resolve the falsities that you are projecting on to the platform but I am mainly assuming that you are not going to be engaging with them.

But I would love to be proven wrong.

@CardboardRobot I'm not interested in trying to prove other people's claims.

If this is your claim I want to see you bring the receipts.

If you're not interested in backing your claim, well I will consider that meaningful.

@CardboardRobot again, the problem is I would like to see it for myself because I just don't trust sources posted to social media since they are so often flat out false.
