@RD4Anarchy start anywhere!

If my reply is so packed with falsehoods, it shouldn't be hard to start laying them out.

Please! Show me the errors in my ways!

@sidereal

@skoombidoombis I do remember Bush 41. And I don't remember what you're talking about there.

Comes across as gaslighting.

@RD4Anarchy Yeah that sounds about right, you really don't seem to understand the concept that here's a thing and only one person can have it at one time.

That's the underlying fact behind property. And yes, you don't seem to appreciate it.

The point is, if you can count to one, you can understand property. That is, if a person isn't just too busy trying to use government to force to their advantage.

@sidereal

@ForBritain That's pretty foolish.

There's no particular reason to think that advertisements should be representative of the ethnic breakdown of the market.

It's not a conspiracy, it's just reaching different markets.

@Sonikku let the voters vote for who they want.

If voters really want to elect a really old person, well, that's democracy.

@samlitzinger I don't like the politicization, but at least it's accurate.

When the left stops blocking the funding legislation they can get back to doing things like updating government websites.

@RD4Anarchy

There's no need to stretch things. No need to look for any kind of conspiracy theory.

It's simply that, here's a thing, and we can count the number of things that this thing is, it is only one thing, we can count to one, and that's that.

All of these theories that complicate trying to reach some political objective, but no, we can count to one. No need to stretch, we'll count these, and we get to one, and that's the end.

Sometimes simple realities are the way to go.

@sidereal

@thesquirrelfish not really.

Contrast it with something like copyright. Copyright is a function of state regulation saying that only one person can claim ownership of ideas, an artificial restriction created by the state and delineated by law.

On the other hand, it's not the state saying that, I don't know, only one person can drive a car at once. That's a result of nature. Only one person can control a physical item at once.

Private property arises out of the natural concept of scarcity. Here is a thing. It can only exist at one place at a time, it can only move one way at a time. That is physical law of nature territory.

Property law is merely recognition of that reality.

@BryanLastRedDrop I think in general any use of the term fascist is inflammatory. So anyone using that term has already crossed the line into inflammatory.

But yes, anyone who is for empowering government really needs to realize what they're saying, more government power is something to be very concerned about.

@BetaCuck4Lyfe ...where did I say that?

You must be confusing me with someone else.

@sidereal

@yoasif that gets it exactly backwards, though.

It's one thing for government to stay out of the way and let us manage our lives. What we're talking about here is government amassing more power and working with corporate entities to set their operations.

It's the exact opposite, and that's the point.

@BryanLastRedDrop

@wkfry Yeah the problem is that we elected officials who have positions that they should sanction it.

We should stop reelecting those same people.
