@brideshead Anche l'interprete di Cossiga è notevolissimo
@ErrataRob Is this acceptable?
@R_P_one I see, thank you. Would it need additional shielding while operating? Something like water tanks to fill before start up for neutrons?
@R_P_one
"The reactor is designed to be safely and rapidly moved by road, rail, sea or AIR"
How did they get the shielding to be so light?
Decided to look at network stats again. There are 1M more people using #Mastodon today than there were on October 27.

@LukaszOlejnik I realized over time that whatever you do, you cannot force people to see ideas that they don’t want to see. If people aren’t open to an idea, they will block it in RL and they will block it just as well online regardless of tech. So this really isn’t about controversial ideas, these only ever have a chance if coming from a figure of authority. It’s merely unusual ideas that people will consider if they see them.
Not really sure whether Mastodon does any worse here than Twitter does. The same bubbles that may isolate themselves on Mastodon also became massively isolated communities on Twitter, interacting with the outside world merely when attacking their “enemies” and definitely not absorbing any outside ideas. Which IMO reinforces the point that the problem here is a sociological one, not a technical.
@noahshachtman Well, at SpaceX and Tesla he writes letters asking for emergency effort and overtime because "the future of the company is at stake" every other month. So this might just be what he says by default.
Just like everything he announces is "about 2 years away". Then it rarely takes less, usually much longer.
I like the spirit, but... if most journalists and most politicians ended up here, what would stop a repeat of the same story?
The social network most suited to those who have short messages to announce to the world will attract the two above-mentioned categories, and when they are all there, they'll get in fights with each other...
I thought that Reddit was the new Usenet ;)
(I know, I know, protocol wise this is much more like NNTP. The user experience of Reddit is more or less the modern continuation of Usenet though.)
