@raichoo I use :wq but I also use the arrow keys, so take that as you will. The big takeaway is that we can all comfortably and effectively edit text

@lynnesbian I think this is how videos used to work on my old blackberry

@lain I see this person posting the same thing to many different repos. I wonder, is it to improve their profile? Or do they just thrive on the negative energy of annoying maintainers?

Chuck Norris already went to Moon and Mars, that's why there are no signs of life.

When you say "no one's perfect", Chuck Norris takes this as a personal insult.

@pea I know that it gets a rep for being "super hard to install" but if the person you're recommending it to really is a technical minded person, it boils down to copy-pasting a few things out of a wiki. The reason I recommend it is because it has a huge software repository if you include the AUR, so there will be no mucking about with ppa's or fiddling with dependencies compiling from source. It also follows a KISS philosophy and has a really low memory footprint, which seems like it might interest the potential linux-convert

@pea probably arch would be the easiest/best for a first timer if you don't like debian for some reason.

@snowdusk_@mastodon.sdf.org Yes I have had a yearly subscription to Common Sense Professional for about 20 years now. I would highly recommend it, but these days it's almost not even necessary if you have adblocker and only use blue checkmark websites

@brainblasted Thinkpad has the only laptop keyboard I can use without cringing

@thegibson now all you need is some black skinny jeans and you look like me in high school
