As I've played around with different search engines, the big question is, from whom do you want privacy?
#Google: I don't care about privacy from anyone. Besides, I have incognito. Give me my search results!
#DuckDuckGo: I don't want Google or my search engine to know me. Also, handy helpers. Servers in USA, though.
#Metager: I don't want search engines, isps, or the government to know me. Utterly open source, host your own. Performance will vary, though.
@souldessin I'm guessing this is a reply to something. Is Neeva a search engine?
@worldsendless heh, yeah it is. Neeva.com is a quasi proxy to other search engines that refuses to advertise. Hence the subscription.
@worldsendless I've been using neeva and while I pay for it, they don't sell anything.
