Apparently WordPress has a sophisticated language besides PHP, which exists in the comments and has its own syntax. I can't find the docs on it. I still appreciate what WordPress does, but... EWWWWWWWWWWWW! 🤢🤬😱
@souldessin Really? It's been a few years since I used Drupal, but I liked it. Did they get rid of it?

I don't think so, but I'm done with them too. It took all of version 8 for them to be friendly with ci/cd and containers. The module system was getting unruly, too. Such a barrier to entry for even basic things.
Now, if I need a php app, I just write one from scratch. Maybe bring in a few lines from a project, but never the libraries.

Yes, drupal implemented something like that once. It made it a Royal pain to create something for it.
