@worldsendless isn't that an artifact of them using an immutable ledger
@worldsendless when i last read (or tried to, its hard to understand what they call writing) they basically have records stored as blobs with UIDs and then there is a blockchain which sequences the UIDs, where deleting data ("expunging") in XTDB is basically removing the datablock that correlates to it.
