@jalefkowit Sad to see a project without an owner…

FYI, I’ve been using Multi-Account Containers for a long time. I think it is better than a Temporary Container. You can create multiple profiles and associate them with domain names.

So Google will always be open in this container. I create many containers: shopping, banking, Google, Twitter, Meta, LinkedIn,…

Multi-Account Containers is an extension developed by Mozilla, so it is safe :-)

I use multi-account containers heavily; for instance, I have four different social containers (including the one I am writing in now) for my different mastodon accounts. But I think it isn't the same prospect as a temporary container, where the value is precisely in NOT having the cached persistence from logins, styles, apis, etc. The ability to look at a thing as a brand new visitor is really valuable, which I normally accomplish via private instances into localhost sites.

@worldsendless @lucas3d @jalefkowit I don't use either extension (I am a fan of Firefox's Strict tracking protection mode, which silos cookies/cache according to the first-party site – a different privacy model)...... However, it seems like the difference between the two is that you have to explicitly remove a container with MAC, so it should take only a little extra effort.
