According to the BBC news Donald Trumpis launching his own social nedia platform tRUTH Social

I just wondered if this was an independent platform or perhaps just an instance on fedi?

Early days yet but asking here as I am more likely to find people + clue when it comes to the actual technology behind this.

I am sure Donald Trump would be at least aware of Decentralised social media and tech back ends such as Activity pub

@piggo That makes sense as it would make little sense to start fully from scratch with a new protocol etc.
