In Germany, @bfdi (kudos to them) maintains an official instance and kindly urged quite many (not all yet) departments/entities to create accounts there.
EU also has some, e.g., @EU_Commission
Having dedicated instances that can be trusted as to the validity of their users is a huge benefit, IMO. (Better than some blue(?) badges, anyway.)
