Does anyone know how to export your list of followers on Mastodon? I've feel like more and more recently a ton of my followers are coming from other instances, and I'd love to see a breakdown of what instances my followers are coming from. Could be a really cool way to see how much the federation plays into relationship building here.

@benjaminhollon I am not too sure but it does sound like a good feature.

@zleap
Yeah, it does.

On the "Export" page in settings there are a bunch of things you can export, but your follow list isn't one of them. :P

@benjaminhollon

Same here, I can understand why m perhaps as that data could potentially be mis used,

@zleap
Yeah, it's a fair thing not to let people export, I suppose.

I know the API lets you get it, but a script I found wasn't working for me.

@benjaminhollon maybe this is something that could be built in to the website / apps where users can select an option to produce a breakdown of where different followers are from.

Which is why this question is being asked.

@zleap
Yeah, would be neat if there was a client that does something like this. I'm not aware of one, though.
