What’s old is new again.

I’ve decided to start trying to replace my remaining usage for Twitter (#news, especially #LocalNews) with #RssFeeds. I know it’s unlikely that anyone will have good local feeds to recommend, but give me favorite your #tech, #science, and #environmental blogs (especially if they support #rss).

As an aside, it’s a shame that some news orgs don’t make RSS feeds available, though I get why newer orgs might not think to as it’s no longer particularly popular.

They want to force people on to social media platforms such as Facebook, if I subscribe to your rss feed I just get updates, there is no tracking, advertising etc, data abuse / sale. So RSS is slowly dying as the new breed of web people see SEO and social media integration as essential and advocates of RSS as old and obsolete. Try to convince people like that, facebook abuse data, they deny that is the case.
