The challenges that the #fediverse faces are numerous and varied, it is a community-driven and decentralized structure, and there is potential for a community fightback against these centralized attempts at control. This could lead to a "long, bloody trench warfare" between the community and the centralized mindset, with the outcome being uncertain. But if the community is able to win this battle and maintain the integrity of the decentralized #4opens path, it could lead to real social change.
Indeeed, if we value what we have here we can build better. We all know what big tech is capabkle of, we can all see their lies, we know about embrace, expand and extinguish.
We can see these threats from early on and wont let that threat get very far.
