I'm doom-scrolling LinkedIn trying to get a sense of who was affected by the US Google layoffs to try to predict who might be affected in the other regions. there's no clear picture forming, which doesn't help the sense of dread hanging over those of us who work outside the US as we wait for the Damoclean sword to fall.

I wonder if the algorithems have something to do with this, we can't have the AI on these platforms exposing the abysmal way big tech treats people can we. Even if LinkedIn is owned by Microsoft, they are all part of the same capitalist criminal empires.
