That reminds me of the episode of the Trap Door, (kids tv from the 80s) where Burke goes up to the thing upstaris, and it's eyeball falls out and goes down the trap door, burke goes to get it from beneath the trap door, once done he says at least he (thing upstaris) didn't see anything the reply comes, but I saw everything.
I have a DVD of all the episodes.
