This will just keep happening, as politicians are never the ones whos kids are slaughtered.
@the_Effekt @zleap or they'll just blame it on one of their favorite bogeymen (the "loony left", etc) and quietly take steps to protect their own kids if they're not already in a private school, homeschooled, or whatever.

@zleap That right there would be the turning point. Once it becomes personal (and it will eventually), they'll finally step up and take action.
