Planetary scientists are puzzled by the presence of a ring around a distant #KuiperBelt object. Scientists reported this week the discovery of the ring around #Quaoar, an object a little less than half the diameter of #Pluto orbiting beyond #Neptune. The ring appears to be uneven, varying in width from a few kilometers to a few hundred kilometers.
