There is now more evidence of the harm we are doing, problem is kids don't seem capable of focusing on something for very long either, they seem to want instant results, which when it comes to science experiments isn't always going to be the case.

I certainly notice at code club the lack of risk taking, to get out of their usual bubble of software and use say a Linux desktop, even though that is a user interface to use software such as python editors which are the same editors you install with windows.
