I like Christmas, appreciate others don't for a variety of reasons but agree about them starting to put stuff out in October or earlier in some cases.
What makes me laugh is last years Xmas number 1, sure thatr record apparently beat what the beatles achieved.
What is not mentioned is that I want to hold your hand was Xmas number 1, in 1964 I think but was released in November that year and was still number 1 after xmas.
Last years Xmas number 1 was released 2 days (or about that) before Xmas with a huge fuss on TV etc to promote it.
@purplepadma @zleap @Rasta @ItsThatDeafGuy Oh no am I being an American Dummie?!
@RickiTarr @zleap @Rasta @ItsThatDeafGuy Well I was more laughing at the thought of how beautiful it would be not to know what a Xmas no. 1 is
@Rasta @mstdn.ca @purplepadma @ItsThatDeafGuy @zleap I guess maybe you shouldn’t tell me & @RickiTarr, then; so as not to ruin our beautiful Xmas no. 1 innocence?
@RickiTarr @zleap @Rasta @ItsThatDeafGuy (I don't actually know but am picturing a hit record in the vein of "Love Actually"
@lynneverson @RickiTarr @zleap @Rasta @ItsThatDeafGuy some very pretty ladies in that clip!
@zleap My wife still does the tree and decorations . I don't play, but I don't deny.. I just don't want to be subjected to it cult-like for 3 months every year .@ItsThatDeafGuy @RickiTarr
@zleap @Rasta @ItsThatDeafGuy What is Xmas number 1
