If this is correct then it IS about removing the people of Gaza by force and nothing to do with removing hamas.
The more you tighten your grip, the more star systems will slip through your fingers

But I agree, there is some evidence Israel knew this was going to happen (warning from Egypt)
It seems there was a plan all along
Anger leads to hatred, hatred leads to the Dark Side.
Maybe there is something hiddel in star wars we can or should be learning from
We learn about the holocaust so we don't make the same errors again, then do, children grow up with this as the mixed message and just follow the example set by leaders and adults.
They need to ask why this keeps happening and demand an answer that is actually a proper answer.
@zleap
No easy answers to the "why" of course. Power is one reason. Netanyahu is well aware that he's up on corruption charges and this invasion delays it.
However, that in no way explains why the vast majority of Israeli citizens support the invasion. That speaks to decades of brain-washing.
It also doesn't explain the continued support of the US. That lies in a desire to control the world. Which goes right back to power, doesn't it?
What a world we live in. One we crafted.
I agree on power, but this is NOT just happening in gaza, we are seeing wars and opression world wide, look at some of the US states, book bans, LGBT bans, transgender treatment bans, and worse to come should the GOP win.
@zleap
Oh I know. I was just focused on that one topic since that's where we began. :-)
We're seeing a rise of the right. Why? Because neoliberalism has failed spectacularly. Inequality is rising, people are doing worse and worse. So they're voting for the party that didn't oversee this mess - and that's the right. However they are failing to see that the right wing will be MUCH worse, rather than better.
Sweeping generalisation, ultra condensed to fit in a single post. ;-)
@zleap
That's my guess, yes.
What gets me the most, I think, is that this is being done by people who lived similar experiences during WWII. They have learned literally nothing from what their direct ancestors went through.
