Carlson wanted the interview to be a political sensation and an information breakthrough.
It turned out to be mediocre and unimpressive.
The conversation was boring, stretched out, with meaningless repetitions.
Carlson was mentally absent from the interview. There was no active manner of conducting the conversation.
He looked completely superfluous. He was being used, and he finally realized that.

The west needs to sort out its defensive capabilities so we have a full military who can be called upon at short notice, we need better cyberdefences, which means educating everyone in good security (like it not).
We also need the ability to do unto hostile statese what they do to us, if they hack a power station, we do the same to them. If they steal data we also hit back and either do the same or fully mitigate what they have done.
We can't keep putting essential infrastructure at risk, it needs sorting out ASAP, otherwise hostile states will beef up their defence, have enough offence to overwhelm us, and also be able to take advantage of stupidity such as being obsessed with sharing information.
Russia is NOT the only threat
