But it should not escape notice that millions of Americans — Republicans — stand right with Trump as he trashes the Constitution.
And they're aided and abetted by "liberal" pundits.

Trump has proven eye-opening — or should have — for many of us, as we learn that a not insignificant proportion of Americans think the Constitution is optional and not the foundation on which our democratic republic is built.
And it should be eye-opening that a whole slew of "liberal" media types are right on board with this trashing of the Constitution — including 99% of straight white men on social media, who are suddenly Constitutional experts.
I am worried, and I am British, get a bloody grip America before it is too late

Righto, mate! Seems like our right-wing is 'avin a spot of the old fascism at the moment and things have gone a little wibbly-wobbly. Loads of us aren't exactly chuffed about it but I'm afraid the opposition party has gone a bit soft and won't raise the row that the situation rightly deserves. Its a real dog's dinner over here!
