Adult sites don't block content, a lot of them seem to simply have 2 buttons on saying over 18 and the other saying under 18, the onus is then on the site visitor to click truthfully.
Age Verification opens up a whole stack of privacy issues, not to mention all that ID info stored on a server makes it a prime target for criminals wanting to steal information they can use for ID theft.
Also who else has access to that information.
Education works to a point IF the people sitting in the class want to be taught and want to learn and discuss the subject matter.
I agree,l and parents need to be helped to do this, many adults can use a computer but are not technical wizards and do seem to have low confidence.
If they work in say pet grooming for example, then that is their area of expertise. Even a secretary in an office will be good at specific things.
There seems to be a disconnect, of course we can raise kids to respect each other they then watch the news and see adults as hypocrites in that respect.
