This is a long shot I know, but my brain won't stop trying to figure out what these two games were. Ideas welcome.

The first was a top-down adventure RPG thing, I'm pretty sure for the Jaguar, but there's a slim chance it was a Megadrive game. I remember you started out on a path, possibly in a village, and if you followed the path you came across a couple of knights and would get attacked. I basically always died there, or managed to get a sword but couldn't progress much further.

Thoughts?

The second was much older, for either the Spectrum, MSX, or Comodore. I'm not making this easy am I? 😂

Top-down again and it was some kind of alchemy game. You had to walk around looking for flowers and ingredients to take back to a cauldron, but I can't remember if this was the main objective or some kind of side thing. It might have been for making spells to use in the main storyline...

You had to do something like that in the first Dizzy game, so you can make a potion to defeat the enemy

@zleap I absolutely loved the Dizzy games, but it's not those I'm thinking of here, nope.
