Meanwhile in France;
in an attempt to undo (some) of the damage inflicted by Macron's decision to hold a snap election, there is now a coordinated & widespread process of third-party stand-downs to allow opposition to the Right to be consolidated for one centrist or left candidate in re-run seats in the second round of the French elections.
This might (should) put a dent in the representation of the far right in France's Parliament, but to some extent the damage is already done!
If they do pull this off and keep the far right at bay, are they not simply delaying until the next election ? If Macron wins this election he needs to LISTEN to the people and start making the difficult decisions to deal with the issues at hand, and do so quickly.
So they will argue .the election was rigged as Trump has argued for the last 4 years
They could also rally the troops as Trump did and try and take power by force,
