Well, most of the conversations I recall having with you were about 9Front, so I kinda mentally assigned you as an old-nerd, even though you're quite young.

So, I expect old-nerd-type people to use i3 or bspwm or something.

@RL_Dane @pixx

Well one thing to consider is that wayland (iirc) runs better on ARM hardware, and the Reform is ARM.

@amin @pixx

I'm not saying you're wrong, but I don't know how you would make a generalization like that given that ARM hardware is so painfully disparate. I don't think I've run X11 on my Pinebook Pro, but I have on Raspberry Pis for a number of years.

One of the biggest pain points on ARM is that hardware support is so dependent on the hardware vendor. It's not like amd64 where you basically just have three major video card vendors.

@RL_Dane @pixx

That's what I've heard from someone, but I admit I haven't done a ton of looking into it myself. My only ARM device is a raspberry pi and I haven't used it a good while.

@zleap @RL_Dane

I'm very aware of them, just don't need another device at the moment and don't have the spare money at the moment to get a device I don't need.

You are in the same situation as me then in some respect.
