Maybe he had a good point, however msot new builds these days can be constructed in such a way they blend in better to the location, use of trees or at least existing trees not only hides buildings from view but also serve as privacy screens for that building or facility.
"
The firm has since struck a deal with Highland Council and the local NHS to pay for the building of a larger care ‘hub’ on a different plot it owns in the village. Wildland would own this new facility and lease it back to the council and health service to run it. "
At least he is willing to pay for the new facility, however the lease it back to the council raises concerns about cost now and in the future, unless there is a sort of long term lease and say a peppercorn rent, the costs can go up in years to come. They would need to check the small print in the contract I guess.
They get their care home, which is what they want, the price they are paying or will pay in the future is unknown. This is the super rich I guess,
