In this, I mentioned how the NCEI is under threat because of the precarity of American politics. It is probably a good idea to start thinking of backing up any climate related data you need, because a Trump presidency could easily shut down NOAA, and therefore the NCEI. #ClimateChange

Agreed, I can see a lot of science people leaving the USA, when things start to happen, that people here warned about we can say 'told you so' not just climate related but the stuff about schools, abortion, LGBTQIA+ attacks etc etc, oh and mass deportations
Will be interesting to see what happens to Harry and Megan, that is what will hit the headlines.
