The suspect behind Magdeburg Christmas market attack was a 50-year-old ex-Muslim named Taleb A.

He was anti-Islam, a supporter of the AfD, and an admirer of neo-Nazi Martin Sellner, as well as far-right figures like Elon Musk, Tommy Robinson, and Alex Jones.

Germany, more than any country in the world, knows what it is like under a facist nazi regieme, the far right will pull out all the stops to claim power in the next election, and fully weaponise what has happened. A very worrying period of history, both the UK and EU now have laws to deal with social media, it is time for OFCOM im the UK to prove their worth, clamp down on all this, or face being shutdown and everyome who works for ofcom sacked and barred from future public office, ofcom have the power to act, it is time they acted, but at the same time work with those social platforms (such as fedi instances) who want to create a safe place for people to interact.

We have seen recently with ofwat, that while they have the power to act, they didn't and allowed even minor rain showers to allow overflow of sewage in to water courses with impunity, of course what we have now is higher bills as the cost if coming from bill payers and not shareholders, something we were told a while back would not happen.

What is the point of regulators who have the power to act, but choose not tp, as it will upset the people at the top of a company and shareholders.

TIme to act before the next atrocity kills hundreds and injures a handful of people.
