This is how it SHOULD be done, for too long the west has imposed help, without being asked, and that help in some cases has made things worse. African countries are more than capable of doing this, they know their countries, culture and all other factors.
Granted IF and only IF they want help, we should help. We can of course offer to share intel and then do so if agreed, otherwise the west should perhaps simply stay out of it.
