I stayed in Kamakura for three days until yesterday.
The photos uploaded today were taken on the first day, and are roughly arranged in chronological order. By the way, the building in the last photo is the hotel where I stayed for two nights.
I live in the same prefecture as Kamakura city, so I can go there for a day trip without having to book a hotel, but as someone who loves Kamakura deeply, I was waiting for an opportunity to immerse myself in Kamakura from morning to night without worrying about the time to get home. And finally, that wish came true!
It was a very happy time, but the only drawback is that I chose the cheapest hotel in Kamakura, so there was nothing to do there except sleep. After all, there was only a big bed in the small room, and the only other thing was a small TV. So after dinner, I wandered around the deserted city at night (the shops in tourist areas close early) and took photos, returned to the hotel at 10 o'clock and fell asleep, and left the hotel at 5 in the morning and started taking photos again. As a result, my smartphone pedometer recorded 150,000 steps in three days. I pressed the shutter 500 times. But photos taken in a happy mood often end up being bad. Looking back at the photos today, I realized that only about 40 were good enough to show, which is a bit disheartening. But I was happy while I was taking them, so I'll just be okay with that.
From tomorrow onwards, I'll upload photos from the second and third days.
Taking photos to get good images isn't the entirety of the reason to take them. So don't be disheartened – if taking them made you happy then doing so was worthwhile. Also, you may find that in a week, or a month, or a year, that you revist those 'bad' images and find some more that are 'good' 😁

Which is the nice thing about digital cameras, we are not held back by 36 exposure film, we can take 100s of photos in one session.
